Our Core Commitment:

District Counseling and Psychotherapy utilizes a zero-knowledge, pseudonymous inquiry system. No tracking pixels or cross-site identifiers are used on this website. We employ proprietary de-identification protocols to protect the anonymity of every visitor.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike the vast majority of websites, we have made an architectural decision to not collect the following: third-party tracking pixels from Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or any advertising network; cross-site analytics that track users between websites; advertising audience profiles; browser fingerprinting data; or participation in any interest-based advertising framework.

2. Information We May Collect

2a. Anonymous Site Analytics

We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics to understand general traffic patterns. This system assigns a temporary, anonymous session identifier that cannot be linked to your identity, cannot track you across other websites, and is not shared with any third party.

2b. Pseudonymous Inquiry Data

When you submit a confidential inquiry through our Alias ID system, we collect only the information you choose to provide. Your inquiry is associated with a randomly generated Alias ID, not your name or email. Your IP address is not logged by our inquiry system.

2c. Patient Data (Post-Reveal)

If you choose to transition from anonymous visitor to patient, your clinical information is handled exclusively through HIPAA-compliant systems governed by HIPAA privacy regulations and our separate Notice of Privacy Practices.

3. How We Protect Your Anonymity

The Three-Step Tiered Disclosure Protocol:
Step 1 — Alias Interaction: You browse and inquire using a pseudonymous Alias ID. No identity required.
Step 2 — Secure Reveal: If you choose to proceed, identity verification occurs through a HIPAA-compliant encrypted portal or end-to-end encrypted messaging.
Step 3 — Verified Connection: Your Alias ID inquiry is linked to your formal patient file only after mutual agreement through verified, secure channels.

4. Content Security

This website responds to Do Not Track (DNT) requests and supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) standard. We do not set persistent cookies. We recommend that visitors seeking maximum privacy use a VPN, the Tor Browser, or a temporary email address for initial inquiries.

5. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is aggregated and cannot be traced to individuals. Pseudonymous inquiry data is retained for 90 days, then permanently deleted. Patient data is retained per applicable state laws and HIPAA regulations.

6. Your Rights

Because we collect minimal data and do not track individuals, there is very little personal information to manage. Patients have full HIPAA rights including access to records, amendments, and accounting of disclosures. Contact: contact@districtcp.com or (202) 641-5335.

7. Changes to This Policy

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Our fundamental commitment to zero-tracking and visitor anonymity will not change.
